End of comps for 2009

Well Sunday was the very last day for all the comps for 2009.
My bf competed in the ANB nationals on the w.e (Prep-d for 2weeks ONLY!)He came in 3rd.Novice. thats so good! There was 10-12 ppl in his line up &hey would of all prepd fro months & paul came in 3rd beating them all.hes crazy!he dropped about7kgs in thos3 2weeks.His metabolisms a machine!wish i could do that!The guy that won was really good&2nd place.So even if Paul did prep for he usually does 6weeks now,i think he would of stayed in 3rd place.
i weighed myself this morning (57kg) holy cow!!! i do have that time of the month in which i tend to hold onto alot of water.So hopefully its just that,but i cannot NOT!!! i say..go over 55kg thats where i stay under.I didnt train at all on the w.e or yesterday,been eating pretty poo to :-/
Yesterday paul had the day off so we chilled,went out for lunch i had a massive breaky&a milkshake.Then we watched movies eating blueberry danish with icecream& cookies.
Had a spin class this morning.filled it in for my boss. The class was pissed off that she hasnt shown up for alot of her classes & that she should b setting an example as shes the head fitness co-coordinator for Fitness first around this area. Yet they said they prefer me&love my music :-) haha stoked!they like me better than my boss whos taught spin for years!
Anyways i cant wait for 2010! I have a girl that wants me to prep her for May,so looking forward for that & then me all out for nationals! BRING IT ON! im gona reach the peak & get to my top physique,get as lean as a bean! x

Havent wrote in ages! My bad..
its the 2nd week from comp now.Well howd i go??? mmm not well,but i expected that.im happy i did it.its like a massive load off! I havent even gone crazy with food anyways.which is good.& i still confident wearing a crop top to work ;-) extra bonus!
I just need to maintain this all through summer! Im not training as much now,just doing my classes & weights maybe 2-3x a week.

Sports Model- 7th place (Lucky last)
Figure USA- 6th place
i know i wasnt as lean as the other girls,but i sure did have the muscle mass.
Next year its on! End of year i plan to go hard, top3 for nationals! Win an overall comp.DOING IT 2010's LAURA V'S year.bring it on!!

for now im gona enjoy summer,surf (finally got my mini mal) food & going out.
Love going out with my friends on the weekend.its something i missed & its back now & i love it

its 5:30am
i cant sleep! I was laying in bed ,tummy rumbling&awake. :-(
My bfs still asleep in my bed,this suck..hopefully i can get a nap in today.
Yesterday ended up being a great 1!Got sequences for my bikini & shit loads of asparagus :-p Nails done&tann. Trained with a crop top &taught my spin class in 1 too,Had loads of energy for the clas,sweet new music & loved it.so many ppl were looking into the class haha.The1 i do at Wanda beach is covered by a glass wall u can see into.
So today i hope goes quick.
im so hungry yet don't wana to give in.its a good hunger pain coz im so close to going on stage &i dont care bout shit food right now.Im lovin the tummy :-) in how its looking hey
Im minding a dog today a baby puggle/cross terrier 1yr old only 10kg till Sunday.cant wait.Yet i wont b here all weekend..well im dead

well its the week!FINALLY !thought this day would never come.
training is actually hard for once... & im so un-motivated for it..
Been super clean all week!havent cheated since last monday!holding out as long as i can! oz i wana go to watch ANB nationals in a couple of weeks ill b filming/interviewing/photographs everyone for Mikes teams website so cant wait&i wana look hot doing it.
I can defiantly see changer this week!abs r showing i can wear short tight tops :-) which i did last night to the gym.Never got so many looks before.My arms were lean &veiny it was great!
today i feel like absolute SHIT!No carbs all week only protein+broccoli .Life is great :-p
so im doing another federation to what i initially planned to do. WNBF which iv done every other time.Coz i can do Sports model & USA Figure (which u dont have to b extremely RIPPED) which im not.coz iv fkd up so much on diet :-(
NEXT YEAR !i shouldn't of even planned to compete this time ,its like iv been dieting all year!not 100% but mostly! need my body A REST! re-set & get pumped for next year!

I haven't drank" since June then before that January! same with chocolate! im kinda scared to go back there too..


Overdoing it with cardio thats why im getting no response! so il have to stop completly (well apart from my classes) & try eat clean as. then slowly start cardio again. thats fkd hey!fitness instructors get to that plateu were all the work is going to becoming more FIT rather then burning fat :-(
I got a spin class to teach this arvo.. wtf ..i got some new beats (songs) so that hopefully will get me pumped! then for my spray tann.
Just putting more diamonds on my costume atm,,im using the ones from last year (for sports model,baby blue) & this year (for Figure-aqua )-which is the one im loading with diamons so it looks different. haha
This weekend will b a bit of a battle.its a 2day comp,so sports model Saturday,then Sunday
im depleting already,last 3days been having 8 yes 8!litres of water a day.10x to the toilet a night! today's 4 tomorrow 2,then 0 (sips) all weekend.ill b fkd Sunday!
Im so excited!i cant wait!
anyways swill post tomorrow if i remember to see how things go.

Contest Time!
If you have been dieting down for a contest, and training twice a day for 10 weeks, you want to be sure everything you consume is what you need, gram for gram. Having a cheat day at least once a week can help keep your sanity during your contest prep. The final two to four weeks before your show are crucial to your chances of winning, and here is what I did during that time.
Competing to win means sacrifice, and when I was dieting for my bodybuilding contest, I didn't cheat the last four weeks.




These thoughts which I ran through my mind is what helped me maintain my focus:



  • Do what your competitors are doing, but do it better.

  • Eat how your competitors are, but eat cleaner.

  • Never miss a workout, and train like your competitors, but train harder and smarter.

  • Most importantly, keep in mind that your time will come when you will be off your contest diet.


Now, while you are dieting and training, keep in mind it will be your time to shine and the stage is YOURS when u get up there!show it off &know to ursef u worked & put in the most effort u possibly could to look the way you do!

its been a while since ive wrote hey..
Well its wednesday.Me& paul had our 2year anniversery on monday so he took the day off& we chilled at his house.He bought me a sliver diamond cross for my necklace & i got him a $250 watch! i went overboard hey!
didnt eat too good on the weekend. and didnt train either..
Im not sure on if im competing or not..still gona see what happenes.. this week im on
Diet- M1-M3 = Protein (90g) + Greens (200g) M4-M6 =Protein (90og)
yep 0 carbs. i need to get to the weekend & if i feel that i need carbs i will have 1cup
Gota stay strong & get lean for parklife 3weeks!! & then a week after will b COMP if im in shape.
Training- 1hour cardio am. pm-weights + 20min HARD cardio.
Non weight days am-1hour, p.m -1hour (CARDIO)

Oh my my mood had been insane lately up & down like a yo yo!

Less then 5weeks till im up on stage!

Well lets say i fkd up on a MONDAY!!! so dissapointed.under the bridge now though..

so lets catch up..

Last week it was friday night,i was at my best friends bbq,she just got back from overseas,so had all the girls at hers drinking,there was finger food.&i got right into it.Cheese&crackers.I didnt end up going out clubbing with them coz i had to work early the next morning.

Got back home & kept eating.but i stayed clean so that was ok..

Saturday mad sandhills session.In a crop top.worked for an hour hard! So many guys out there haha,didnt mind the looks i was getting either.But i wasnt there for that.i was there to work my ass off& burn most of that shit from lastnight!

Went into the city saturday with my bf& his mate,sorting out our tatoo's.Guy in there was too busy so we didnt et anything done.if he wasnt busy i deadset would of got it!

We stopped at Brighton on the way home for lunch it was about 3 o'clock! I ordered a burger,fries+salad.This was going to be my cheat.It was huge! didnt get all the way through either. Got called to fill in a 4:30pm spin.wow i just ate.bloated now to teach a class.haha oh well WHY NOT! so did that,had a few moments where i felt like i needed to puke.but it stayed down.

Mmm the munchie devil came back to attack,&i hit up the bakery on my way home ,bought 3 things.This mini cheese cake,mini lemon merangue& an apple pie. WTF laura!Ate that in the car on way home.then we had a fahters day dinner,CHINESE! so was eating that.& topped it off with some icecream&cake. dude.... after this the depression kicks in & its the WORST FEELING! yet i keep doing this to my body. why dont i learn from my mistakes?!?! seriosuly.... its a good satisfying feeling at the time,but its soooooo bad when im full.&my mood goes haywire after it.i just blame everyone for everything..This is why i hate eating shit around ppl& in the day coz after im like putting everyone else down coz i feel down.but then at night its worse coz im going staright to bed!& thats what i did :-(

Wo0ke up sunday morning staright to Cronulla (beach) 1hour jog.then had to work 7:30am-5pm. little to eat all day.My punishment!

Went out that night with my friends.danced danced danced!

Monday beginning of the week-beginning of a new start.yeh didn that happen... NO! fuck ...

Did my hour cardio ive got this new thing i do. i run from North croulla to greenhills on the path,then do 5sprints on the grass,run from there to North cronulla on the sand,then up to shelly beach & back to South then walk through the mall,Check out the scene walk past everyone scoffing down cakes & there junk of a breakfast& back to my car. Haha.Its fun..

Did it this morning too.

So i got home monday had my meal 1. I have now 4low days which is NO carbs. Just protein+greens. &3high days which is Purple yeh purple sweet p. for breakfast &post workout. I havent got to the high days yet im waiting till friday for that. Gota punish myself for the monday!

Oh yeh i didnt finish...

so monday... grrrr.... i was starving& couldnt find an alternative. The munchie devil was back to attack AGIAN! seriously i wana kill this dude!!! i was going sweet last week & he came back!!!!

so i tried staying CLEAN! got a bowl of oats& egg white & put a banana in for s trear. bow bow! WRONG THING TO DO. coz from that SUGAR!!! insulin rises& it goes from there :-(

I was full yeh full after that meal but the mind was saying "MORE MORE MORE". Started on some almonds,cashew&dried fruit. i dno why i crave this but i have ever since i started competing. I was going to train with my friend Naomi today& my brain was just in the 'fkd up mode' & i was gona cnacel it coz i was so down on myself.. i even wrote the msg saying i wasnt gona make it.. junk food seriously fks up with ur brain!

but no i had to train! so i got my stuff & left the house.But what did i do on the way,stopped at the corner store &bought a packet of almonds & a banana muffin$1. grrrr. ate it on the way to the gymWe trained. & that was good.till i left.. was wanting MORE food.stopped at a bakery & got an apple pie. Dropped in at my nans to see her&took her out for coffee& what did i order, an ice coffee with icecrea+cream& cheese cake! it didnt even taste good.i had 1/2 & was like OMG STOP!!! ring ring "can u full in a cycle class at 5:30" YES! i killed myself that class,all out.

didnt eat for the rest of the day.

seriously.its craz how eating so clean & then destoring that rythem to eating junk can fk ur brain up so much... & yet i still do it.. i cant just have like 1 bit of something.its gota be heaps till the point where im full & sick.

i dont want to did this anymore...& im scared of whats gona happen after my comp..

its nealr summer & i want a good body more than anything! i just got to find my way around diet! eating clean all the time..

Well im off gota run a circuit class for year 10 students.

i did one last night ,was pretty fun.had a huge class,all different ages.their so nice! loved it

Good week. so far


Hello hello.

Its wednesday morning.Cardio& meal1 down pact
Had monday off.&gona train everday for the rest of the week. 6weeks out. IM KEEN AGAIN!
Fingers crossed i stick with it this time!!! 5weeks till parklife & 8weeks till Nationals.
Started going for walks with my friend Pete , we walk from Cronulla gym along the esplanade & back for a good hour just over.He competes too but hes just wanting to tone up now for summer.
(Dont we all!)
Been good with diet so far,so need to hold out till saturday.Im gona write down everything i crave & wait.
Im training with my friend Naomi today she competes in figure. So she should give me a push which'll b good. Had a sweet surf yesterday,still heaps cold.Cant wait till summer!!

Am i going to get there??

grrrrrr. thought after saturday i woulda been back on track but nooooooooooo i f*%ked up again!idno whats going on with my brain hey..
I broke my phone today,it dropped &smashed,screen utterally damaged so have no phone.Serves me right.i have pitty on myself right now..yesterday would of have to of been the BIGGEST yep BIGGEST binge of my life!it started with meal 2 and went on..
Its wednesday middle of the week & i couldnt even wait till the weeknd! grrrr.Im going backwards hey..like im wanting to do the comp on 2 1/2weeks.No way will i b ready! i just want a smashing body for summer in the long run! And if im going to Parklife (musci festival)which is in like 6weeks,i want a killer stomach! Im seeing Mike friday..gota see what he says bout the comps coming up soon.
If nothing ill probs go watch one &then wait till Central coast ANB in 6weeks.then Nationals 8weeks.
So yesterday DISASTER DAY!
i wanted to have the day off.coz the rest if the week i can train.
i slept in.was really good. Had my 1st meal. 5egg whites with 40g oats. Then i was still hungry after that,so i decided to make a big salad &out beans & cheese in it.Bad decision. then was still hungry after that..so had like 3bowls of oats!and then
cereal-weetbix with jam,peanut butter,biscuits,rice cakes,bread!!!
Mum made apple crumble o the weekend & i was saving it for this weekend ATE THAT!
I was seeing my friend that day was gona go surfing but its flat.I went to her house then we went up the mall to get lunch,my brain was still in "eat anything&everything mode"so i did it :-(
I bought myself this chicken avocado &seafood salad.so yum,ate it on the beach.Then we went & got Cold rock (icecream)where u can mix in different stuff.im still stong with the NO chocolate..i ordered - Regular size coconut&cake batter flavored icecream with caramel fudge&cookie doe mix in.geez how much sugars in that!?
After that yep still hungry so went and bought a protein bar& had these gluten free wafer biscuits i had in my car from saturday night. After that we went back to my friends house watch movies & fell asleep. fk i was depressed! idno why i keep doing this to myself... seriously..
Went home after that.thought it was all over but NOOOO it wasnt! drove past this bakery which has amazing food!! Bought a -Coconut jam slice,Honey&almond slice & this riccota tart.Ate it all on my drive home... :-( Got home kept it rolling.. had crackers&french dip.
Dinner time came not huingry at all... had some pumkin soup yeh go the carbs laura.U idiot!and then some meat&a bita salad. That was it for me done! bloated & sick.
Today ive cut all portions in 1/2 and no carbs. And tomorow i will have zero carbs too.
Just my protein and greens
Thats what i get for being an idiot!!! i deadset feel like actually DO have an eating disorder..
i need to overcome it though...jjusty get through this week sweet & keep battling on. I feel good after a few days & then when i sart seeign changes i get more motivated!
well i hope i do what i say. Coz alot of this good advice i give myself & sAY goes out the window..

Day Off

Its thursday morning.Woke up in the middle of the night & just could not get back to sleep.so annoying!I think i might have to run a circuit class today for the school kids like i did last week.not sure yet..wait for the call.i have an interview with Curves this afternoon but its a fair way away & i really cant be bothered go that far.. blah...
i dont know why but i was craving almonds lastnight bad!! came home from teaching my spin class had dinner,was sweet.Then went upstairs to watch some tv&got stuck into nuts.grrr im sos mad,czo i gave up on them!and i had a whole bag of roasted almonds.they were so good at the time but after i was like yuk!need to get through to saturday !!Weather was so nice yesterday not like today its gross!went for a surf ,sunbacked for a bit,got no tann though..its still winter but hey i try.anyways hopefully next time i write theres some interesting things to say..

1st day of the week

Wow i taught 7spin classes last week.Hard out.Todays my day off yay!
Shit sleep all week but saturday & lastnight was better :-) .im suprised how many people showed up yesterday morning for 9:30 spin.Was really good,i think i taught a very good one.Got a few good compliments &a guy said i communicate reeally well :-) .Had to go straight to my waitress work down near the beach,i waitress there been there since Janruary,my boyfriends good mates dad runs it.Im going to have to bail on it soon though,its just all too much for me atm..
Saturday i had an early class.Then my bf took me to Bondi beach,we had lunch there & looked at the shops,was such a nice day.I cant wait till summer!

End of week been 100%clean :-)

i am literraly buggered!
bad sleep again last night. Yesterday i actually had a good one.My bf Paul gave me just 1melatonin tablet & i was out like a light. I got "the time of the month" yesterday.suprised i actully got them,with the amount fo exercise ive been doing. bad p-pain lastnight :-(
Went out for dinner with my friend&her mum lastnight coz shes going to Hawaii tonight for 2weeks so lucky!!! ive been there twice & i have to say the best place ever!!!!!!!!!!!
I was very good,i chose salmon on salad with a side serve of vegges -broccoli,carrot,corn. i was meant to have my M5-50gsweet p. +protein+greens. so the veggies made up for my carbs.
Trained shoulders in the arvo,im starting to see my arms looking better :-)

So its thursday nearly end of week :-) ive been so good with diet,so proud of myself. Going to see Mike tomorow night.. Taught spin this morning & went hard!my sister came along shes funny,i could see her bright white teeth glowing from the fluro lights.
i just got called up from another gym to fill in a class at 1pm,school class.so that should be alright,but i have an interview anytime from 12-3pm at Elite Fitness at cronulla,so hopefully i get there on time!! its right on the beach.well better be off things to do today:
-1pm class
-Elite Fitness interview ( get M3 down)
-Train-nulla fit1st Legs+claves+abs :-/ (M4)
was meant to go for a run on the esplanade with couple of my friends but dout thatl b happening
-Come home RELAX! cant wait for that!!! and see my baby.

Too awake.Need sleep!

Well been good this week (even though its only Tuesday morning-but my week starts Sunday).Had to get up early to teach spin down at the platinum gym on the beach.It was beautiful watching the sun rise above the ocean&the surf looked amazing!i snoozed for 20min this morning so was running late but got there just in time.
Had 2classes yesterday &im dead!been having bad sleep for the last few days,dont have another class till thursday morning so hopefully i can catch up on my sleep.Dont think ill be able to today with the amount of caffeine i had this morning :-/
Havent had any signs of hunger or cravings so fingers crossed i get through this week without it.i let myself a cheat Saturday,but im gona try my hardest not to and if i do then itl b planned and i will eat the same as i am now just more,probs more carbs.
im meant to go see Mike tonight (he helps me with food prep for competition)i was meant to see him last week,but i had so many cheats i was just too embarrassed ..i still am now,coz i know i should be looking leaner then i am.4weeks this weekend in i do the WNBF state titles.i really dont think im ready but,,thats the closest comp,then theres 8weeks till the last..

Weird re-juvanting day!


My first post...
where do i start..
wel its a friday yay weekend begins!But then i look back to the week ive had and,did i fufill it?
Did i eat 100% clean?
Did i do my training according to plan?
well answer is.
Diet- no :-( Training-Yes :-). but i need diet to be yes!!
struggle street i have to say.. big wake up call..and iv had so many i the last few weeks its horrible! last night another binge took place.seriously once i start i cant stop.its like my brain is on auto pilot the binge-devil comes out and i wont stop eating till im sick!and its always at night,so what,i go to bed after this?thats fat just asking to b put on.
And yeh it tastes good,but after is the worst!!! Depression kicks in hard &then the days following i must pay the consequnces of cutting out carbs &extra cardio.Wheres this gona get me?=NO WHERE! to get lean it requires Clean eating.
i have 5weeks till State wnbf or 6weeks till ANB 7weeks INBA.if i do these.But majorly Nationals in october.My goal-to cpmpete in nationals. Ive done this before (competed,dieted) i CAN do it again. I just seem to be struggling this time.da-sha-voo how ever u spell the word.from last year.
I ompeted in May & tried for nationals but got to 2weeks dieting & gave up.i think i needed to give my body a good rest.Coz come this May 2009 i was sweet,nt im doing it again & its fkn torturuse!!!
most of all i just want to b fit looking coz i am a fitness instructor &i love looking&feeling good.summer is soon,man i love the beach & surfing.all that with a good body &a 6pack will b amazing!!!
i ate good today .45min a.m hard walk.Trained arms in the arvo practised my class on the bike for 1/2 hr. then went for a light jog on the beach while the storm came in.Just had dinner & Now im playing with charlie,my sisters fiance's son.hes 2 & full of energy.so much, fun!my bf just got here so i better be off. gota get up early to teach a class. till next time.
